Dr. Lauren Hansen specializes in the surgical and medical management of ears, nose, throat conditions of both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Hansen received her B.S. from Wheeling Jesuit University, where she was an Academic All-American, Captain, and MVP on the Women’s Basketball Team. In addition, Dr. Hansen graduated from her University as Salutatorian, Summa Cum Laude and received multiple honors including Laut Honors and induction into the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Hansen completed her internship and residency in otolaryngology at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. During her residency, Dr. Hansen presented multiple research papers at Otolaryngology National Meetings.
Dr. Hansen’s practice encompasses the full range of otolaryngology, including nasal and sinus disease and surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease. In addition she has developed an interest in the surgical management of diseases of the salivary glands, facial skin cancer reconstruction, as well as pediatric ear, nose, throat conditions.
