Dr. Wood grew up in Greenfield, IN. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame and went on to study medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her otolaryngology residency at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC. With a special interest in voice and airway, she went on to complete a fellowship in laryngology at Vanderbilt University. She enjoys treating a broad range of ear, nose, and throat disorders, including thyroid/parathyroid, head and neck pathology, but has a special interest in voice, swallowing, and airway problems. She and her husband, Jim, have two children, Owen and Ella. She is excited to be back home in Indiana, and enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors, biking, running with their dog Lucy, playing tennis, attending Indians and Colts games, and of course tailgating at Notre Dame.
